InHo Kim – My Faithful Journey

Life Stills of a Korean-American Man/Husband/Father/Pastor

About

inhoInHo Kim

I am a Korean American Man/Husband/Father/Pastor who is in a search to find the meaning in all those titles. I call San Francisco home, and am just trying to find my way in the world and stay on the path of a faithful journey.

Originally born in Korea, grew up in Michigan and now have been in San Francisco Bay Area since 1994. A graduate of University of Michigan and San Francisco Theological Seminary, I have served churches for most of my life in some capacity. My actions, thoughts and a way of being tend toward the Postmodern and the Emergent, but a path to discovery and conversations about my true self and my faith have been a part of me ever since my move to the United States at the age of 8.

These random and not so random writings are my own thoughts of my life and faith as they converge or sometimes stray on different paths. I do not speak for the denomination or the churches that I serve or even of my close friends and family and definitely not for my wife. She definitely has her own thoughts which I dearly love and respect.

I am currently involved in the Presbytery of San Francisco and serve a local Presbyterian Church. I reside in San Francisco with my wonderful wife(a Presbyterian pastor), two gorgeous children and one beautiful hairy dog.

  1. glad to have found you online. look forward to reading more. 🙂

  2. Glad to meet you via Twitter. I’m a retired Presbyterian pastor. My presbytery, New Castle, commissioned me as an Interfaith Peacemaker in May. See http://bit.ly/tQdbNf. What’s going on in interfaith activities in San Francisco presbytery?
